Exchange Files With Anyone	With Timbuktu Pro you can access the hard drive of a remote machine and transfer files to or from it. Just select the user, select the file and drag your file to the remote volume. And if you can't find the file, let Timbuktu Pro find it for you with its File Find feature built right into Timbuktu Pro's exchange. Nothing is faster, nothing is more complete, and nothing will make your life easier than the file exchange capabilities included with Timbuktu Pro.

Internet Locator	Timbuktu Pro makes it easy for anyone to quickly find other users on the Internet or LAN, especially those Timbuktu Pro users with dynamic IP addresses - the ones handed to you from your ISP. The Timbuktu Pro Internet Locator server is hosted by Netopia 24 hours a day; it marries your email address with your TCP/IP address in real-time, whenever you are online. Any Timbuktu user can connect to any other Timbuktu Pro user simply by knowing their email address.

Tele/Modem Toggle	Using an analog phone line, you can switch between using a Timbuktu Pro connection and speaking to the other user over the telephone. For example, if you were helping a user load a new software program, you could speak with them over the phone line, and then switch to the modem so you could use Timbuktu Pro to check the installation on their hard drive and remotely configure their application. You could then switch back to the telephone and speak to the user again. Timbuktu eliminates extra phone calls, the need for multiple phone lines, and reduces confusion.

IP Browser	Similar to a list of users in an AppleTalk zone, with Timbuktu Pro 5.0, you can pull up a list of all Timbuktu Pro TCP/IP users on the network. This makes it easy to find any user without having to know their IP Address. You can simply browse the list of users, select the one you want, and connect.

Complete Security	You can depend on Timbuktu's ironclad security to keep your resources and Macintosh safe from unauthorized access. Timbuktu Pro's customizable user-level options, such as temporary guest privileges, password aging, and activity logging insure your information is safe. For complete site-based security, Timbuktu Pro Enterprise (available separately) includes the Timbuktu Pro Administrator's Toolkit for Macintosh which allows administrators to safely deploy remote control technology in an enterprise environment.

Invitation Service	Timbuktu Pro allows you instantly to invite other Timbuktu Pro users running the same version to connect to and control your machine, observe your screen, or use any other Timbuktu Pro service. You can even use the "Show My Screen" utility to immediately display your desktop to another user. With a simple click of a button, you can push your screen directly to another user's monitor. It's a great teaching tool for when you want others to learn from what you're doing and ideal for collaboration when you want to instantly communicate information.

	Shrink-to-Fit The Shrink-to-Fit feature allows you to resize the screen sharing window on your computer while maintaining the complete desktop view of the machine being observed or controlled. You can change the shared window to any desired size, and even view multiple machines in multiple windows simultaneously. You'll always have complete insight and access to the activities taking place on the remote computers. When observing or controlling a machine at a higher screen resolution with a large display, you can alter the size of a window so that it fits perfectly on your smaller computer screen. This is ideal for when your PowerBook is controlling a desktop Macintosh at higher resolution.
